The developers of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 gave an extensive gameplay demo and revealed interesting details about the game

The Chinese Room studio held the first demonstration of its version of the game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (remember, earlier the game was developed by Hardsuit Labs studio, but failed to cope with the task).

Here's What We Know

In the shown video, Bloodlines 2 creative director Alex Skidmore explained the main mechanics of the game and the approach to its creation.

The developer showed gameplay footage on the example of a fragment in some warehouses, where the protagonist Phyre gets in pursuit of her goals. Since in this case the player has chosen Brujah clan - the protagonist has an aggressive character, supernatural speed and strength. Accordingly, Skidmore chooses aggressive lines in dialogues that fully correspond to the behavior of Brujah representatives.

The creative director noted that by selecting other clans, players will have the opportunity to choose alternative lines, which will lead to a different development of events.

The video also shows stealthy elimination of enemies and even an open battle scene where Fyre uses his supernatural abilities to defeat enemies.

Alex Skidmore explained that in The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 players need to look carefully at the locations to find the right items and the best ways to deal with enemies, and it will also help to better understand the plot of the game.

When We Can Expect It

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will release in autumn 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
