Dragon's Dogma 2's game director has denied information about low frame rates in console versions of the ambitious RPG
In January, there was a rumour online that the Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG would only run at 30 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
The source of this information was an unnamed Japanese insider and, as it turned out, his information is not true.
Here's What We Know
Dragon's Dogma 2 game director Hideaki Itsuno on his Twitter page a little verbally denied this information.
The developer said that the ambitious fantasy game will be released without frame rate limitation, which probably implies 60 FPS.

However, it's worth noting that Capcom has yet to indicate whether Dragon's Dogma 2 will feature the traditional choice between increased resolution and increased frame rate for modern PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. It's possible that Dragon's Dogma 2 won't feature such a setting at all.
When We Can Expect It
Dragon's Dogma 2 will release on 22 March 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
