Lexar has announced a new portable SSD drive.
Here's What We Know
The model has been named Lexar Professional SL600 Portable SSD. According to the manufacturer, the gadget is designed for photographers, videographers, content creators and business professionals.
The novelty has a shockproof case, which is made of aluminium. Thanks to USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 technology, the drive offers read and write speeds of up to 2000MB/s. The device also boasts Lexar DataShield, which provides 256-bit AES encryption to protect files from unauthorised access. The SSD drive is compatible with a variety of devices running Mac OSX 10.6+, Windows 11/10/7/8 and Android 4.4+.
