Remedy Entertainment has significantly accelerated the development of Control 2 and the Max Payne remake

Earlier we reported that the Finnish studio Alan Wake 2 became Remedy Entertainment's fastest-selling game with 1.2 million copies sold and even called it "the fastest-selling game in its portfolio".

In the same press release the developers told about the process of creating new projects.

Here's What We Know

Remedy Entertainment CEO Tero Virtala shared that with the main work on Alan Wake 2 completed, more studio employees were able to join the development of Control 2 and the Max Payne remake, which will combine the first and second instalments of the iconic series.

Virtala emphasised that the development of these games has accelerated significantly and the studio only plans to pick up the pace. Work also continues on a co-operative game in the Control setting, codenamed Condor.

Tero Virtala said that the development of Control and Alan Wake franchises, which are closely related to each other, will be a priority for Remedy Entertainment.
