Now it's official: Samsung has unveiled its new Galaxy Fit 3 fitness bracelet

The other day we wrote about another leak on the specs of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fit 3, as today the company unveiled its new fitness tracker officially. As previously predicted, almost all the rumours and leaks have been confirmed.

Details

So, the Galaxy Fit 3 features a 40mm display (1.57 inches), which is about 45% larger than its predecessor. The body of the tracker is made of aluminium, which increases its durability, and the new one-click strap makes it easy to switch to the desired position. The device supports over a hundred types of workouts, as well as sleep and stress level monitoring.

Galaxy Fit 3 is the first in the Galaxy Fit series to support fall detection and SOS emergency call functions. When a fall is detected, it allows users to call an emergency number for quick assistance, and in case of an emergency, an SOS message can be sent by pressing the side button five times.

Interaction with Galaxy smartphones has also been improved. The Camera Remote feature in the Galaxy Fit 3 allows you to take photos on your smartphone while controlling the process from the tracker, and it also supports Media Controller function to control media files that are playing on your smartphone.

In addition, Do Not Disturb or Hibernate mode can be synchronised with the connected smartphone, while Find My Phone allows you to locate your smartphone and vice versa.

The Galaxy Fit 3 is also IP68 water-resistant up to 5ATM and dust-resistant, allowing users to exercise in a variety of conditions, and its battery lasts up to 13 days on a single charge.

When We Can Expect It

The Galaxy Fit 3 will be released in three colours - grey, silver and rose gold. It is scheduled to start selling from the 23rd of February in select countries in Europe, Asia, Central and South America.
