Now you can add annotations, drawings, and highlight words in Google Docs on Android using a stylus or just your finger. This update was announced at the recent MWC 2024. The upcoming changes will bring the ability to work with documents to a new level, allowing you to sign them, add a note or review, highlight certain words, or add an illustration on the go.
At the moment, the only thing that's still missing is handwriting recognition. In this respect, Apple is ahead of the curve, as the function of converting handwriting to print was launched in native applications immediately with the release of Apple Pencil.
