Rumour: Apple has no plans to update to iPadOS 18 for tablets with A10X Fusion chip on board
A list of Apple tablets that will be updated to the iPadOS 18 operating system this year has appeared on the Internet.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the American corporation is going to stop supporting iPad models with A10X Fusion chips. That is, the new system is not worth waiting for on the first generation iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch screen, as well as on the second generation iPad Pro with a 12.9-inch display. Both models came out in 2017.
If devices with A10X Fusion don't get iPadOS 18, it's likely that iPad models with the A10 Fusion chip will also be affected. Therefore, the new system should be expected on iPad Pro 2018 (and newer), iPad Air 2019 (and newer), iPad mini 2019 (and newer), and iPad 2020 (and newer).
By the way, there's still a list of iPhone models that will be compatible with iOS 18 on the internet.
