Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could be completed by April this year
Rumours surrounding the next flagship chip from Qualcomm are emerging and they paint a picture of a pretty powerful processor. While we are all waiting for official information, rumours have surfaced that this processor is in production.
Here's What We Know
According to the latest information provided by @negativeonehero, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 development will be completed in April, samples will be shipped to manufacturers in June and mass production will start in September. This processor will be manufactured on a 3-nanometre process. The cores are expected to be 4.00+ GHz and there may be overclocked models as well. However, power consumption remains high at this stage.

- 8 Gen 4 will be finalised in April. They will be shipped to OEMs by June, and will begin mass production in September, before the Snapdragon Summit in early October.
- Clock speed is 4GHz+, OC models are possible. Power consumption is still high at this stage.
Importantly, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4's artificial intelligence and digital signal processor computing performance will be almost double that of its predecessor. The Adreno 830 GPU also promises to be faster than the Apple M2 in 3DMark Wild Life Extreme. However, final confirmation will only come after real-world testing.
