Casio PRO TREK PRG-340SC watch with built-in digital compass, altimeter and thermometer released

Casio has expanded its Pro Trek range with new watch models - the PRG-340SC-2 and PRG-340SC-5. These watches, one of which is made in warm beige colours and the other in dark blue, are designed for lovers of outdoor activities.

Here's What We Know

The watches are equipped with features such as a digital compass, barometer, altimeter and thermometer. They also have a special dual-layer LCD display that simultaneously displays different types of information and a bright LED backlight for easy viewing in the dark.

The main emphasis of these new models is eco-friendliness. The bracelets are made from recycled resin residue from Casio's production, and other watch parts use bio-resins that are more environmentally friendly. This approach not only reduces waste, but also gives each watch a unique look thanks to the slick design.

Both models are solar-powered and can withstand immersion in water up to 100 metres deep. They are also capable of operating in low temperatures down to -10°C. Despite its powerful features, this watch is quite lightweight (60 grams), making it comfortable to wear all day long.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The watch is priced at $250 and is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, with orders starting to ship on April 1, 2024.
