Features such as ReBAR are activated through a file in your graphics card's BIOS. The main program, known as vBIOS, is responsible for the functioning of the card and establishing communication with the motherboard. It also stores certain parameters, such as the maximum clock speed of the GPU.

Modifying the BIOS file allows you to activate the ReBAR (Resizable BAR) feature on older graphics cards. It allows you to use this feature without having to edit the graphics card hardware. This can be convenient because modifying the BIOS file can be less vulnerable to errors.
