Midjourney imposes image access ban on Stability AI employees after detection of inappropriate activity

According to the announcement, Midjourney detected an attempt by one of their Stability AI employees to massively clear the hints and resource pairs used to synthesise information using their artificial intelligence. This resulted in unknown technical issues in the Midjourney service and loss of access for some users.

Representatives of Midjourney stressed that such actions are a violation of their rules and threaten the trust of users. This led to an immediate ban for all Stability AI employees for an indefinite period.

For his part, the CEO of Stability AI stated that their company is thoroughly investigating the situation. He claims that the excessive activity did not occur unknowingly and expressed a desire to cooperate with Midjourney in resolving the issue.
