Years of waiting are coming to an end: the release date for the console versions of System Shock remake has been announced

Developers from Nightdive Studios have finally revealed the final release date for the console versions of the highly regarded remake of the cult game System Shock.

The updated version of Warren Evan Spector's acclaimed game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on 21 May 2024.

On this occasion, the developers released a special trailer, which reminded gamers what to expect from the remake of the 1994 sci-fi game.

PC-version of System Shock Remake was released in the summer of 2023. Critics called the game overly conservative, but faithful to the original. But gamers were delighted with the updated classic of the genre Immersive sim.

Recall, in System Shock players will find themselves on a remote space station "Citadel", which is completely captured by the evil artificial intelligence SHODAN.
