Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2 update got the ability to display the picture through USB-C port
Google recently released the Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2 update Android 14 QPR3 for the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, which activated a useful feature for the devices.
Here's What We Know
We're talking about DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Thanks to it, smartphones can now output images through the USB-C port to TVs and monitors. A similar feature is available in the flagship Galaxy S24 smartphones.
Finally: Google has enabled display output on a Pixel phone for the first time!

With Android 14 QPR3 Beta 2, you can mirror your Pixel 8's screen to an external display, as Google has finally enabled DisplayPort Alternate Mode.

Incidentally, despite the fact that the majority of last generation Pixel devices supported the USB-C 3.1 or higher standard Google for some reason left the feature disabled. Back in October last year, third-party developers with the help of the GrapheneOS project activated this feature in the Pixel 8. Now the feature works on Google smartphones without any additional modifications.
