Galaxy Flip 3 received an update with a security patch for March in the US

Samsung has already started rolling out the March security update for some of its high-end and mid-range models. The Galaxy Flip 3 in the US has also started receiving the fresh March software update.

The new software update for the Galaxy Flip 3 in the US comes with firmware version F711USQS6HXBD. The update is available for Comcast and Xfinity Mobile carriers. Unlocked Galaxy Flip 3 devices will also get the new update, but it comes with firmware version F711U1UES6HXBE. The new software is available on almost all carrier networks across the US.

There are no new features for the Flip 3 in this update. The update only improves the security of the device, which fixes around 44 vulnerabilities.

If you have a Galaxy Flip 3 in the US, you can check for the new software on your phone. You can do this by opening Settings on your phone, then go to Software Update and tap Download and Install.
