Microsoft opens Copilot GPT Builder tool to all Pro subscribers

Microsoft has announced that Copilot GPT Builder, a tool for creating customised versions of chatbots, is now available for all Copilot Pro paid tier customers.

Copilot Pro subscribers can access Copilot GPT Builder in the Copilot web app by going to the side menu and selecting "See all Copilot GPTs".

The Builder allows users to create custom versions of Copilot tailored to their tasks and workflows. To do this, an interface with "Create" and "Customise" tabs is provided.

On the "Create" tab, the user can enter instructions in plain language and Copilot GPT Builder will automatically create a custom GPT.

The "Customise" tab allows the user to change the name, description and instructions for the behaviour of the created GPT, as well as upload files for augmented lookup (RAG). This technique allows the GPT to access and retrieve data from files not included in its training set.

Copilot GPT Builder also supports web browsing and image generation functions using Microsoft Designer AI. Thus, the tool allows you to create applications that fit the user's tasks and work style without the need for technical knowledge or programming.
