Here's What We Know
However, the same source says there could be problems with mass production of the LPDDR6 module this year, which could delay its availability until 2025. Despite this uncertainty, Ajunews speculates that LPDDR6 could be integrated into Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 to meet the growing demand for AI capabilities in the device. However, it's worth treating this information with some caution at this point.
LPDRR5T is currently the fastest RAM available in a smartphone SoC, with theoretical speeds of up to 9.6Gbps. As for Qualcomm, it is not yet known for sure whether the company will opt for LPDDR6 or stay with LPDDR5T memory for its upcoming SoC.
