Sony has unveiled a spectacular release trailer for Rise of the Ronin, the ambitious samurai action game from Team Ninja

A week before the release of samurai action game Rise of the Ronin, Sony and Team Ninja have unveiled its release trailer.

Here's What We Know

The spectacular video alternates between footage created on the game's engine and live-action episodes.

The voice-over of a lone ronin reflects on the chaos of the civil war in which 19th century Japan is embroiled. The situation is exacerbated by the military expansion of Western invaders who want to subjugate the Land of the Rising Sun.

The player, and thus the protagonist, will have to choose one of the three sides of the conflict and try to lead the allies to victory.
