Bungie has announced that Destiny 2: Into the Light will launch on 9 April with the 7.3.6 update, which promises fresh content and improvements ahead of The Final Shape, as well as quality of life and sandbox tweaks.

Here's What We Know

In order to fuel the excitement, Bungie has scheduled three livestreams starting on 19 March at 10am Pacific time, followed by 26 March and 2 April. During these broadcasts, the developers will provide detailed information and a hands-on preview of various aspects of the update.

Judging by the published promotional illustrations, the pyramidal ships of the Black Fleet will launch an attack on the Last City, forcing the Guardians to stand up for it. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks
