Lenovo Legion R7000P: 16-inch 165Hz display, Ryzen 7 8845H processor and RTX 4060 graphics
Lenovo has launched the new Legion R7000P 2024 gaming laptop in China.
Here's What We've Seen
The new model is a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the main one being the AMD Ryzen 7 8845H processor. This processor has 8 cores and 16 threads, with a base clock speed of 3.8GHz and an accelerated frequency of 5.1GHz. It also features an NPU, allowing the Legion R7000P to deliver AI performance of up to 38 TOPS, which significantly boosts performance in AI-intensive applications.
The Legion R7000P features a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels, 165Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time and a maximum brightness of 350 nits. The laptop uses an Nvidia RTX 4060 mobile GPU with 8GB of VRAM and a maximum power output of 140 watts. This is a relatively low-ranking GPU, but it will have no problem running modern AAA and competitive games. The laptop has a cooling system consisting of two fans and five heat pipes. It also features a large 80W*h battery, WiFi 6E, a range of connectivity options and a Nahimic speaker system for quality sound.
The laptop is priced at 8,399 yuan (roughly $1,168) and can be purchased in China through online retailers. Lenovo has not yet announced a release date for global markets.
