Two reputable insiders are convinced that the PlayStation 5 Pro will go on sale in late 2024
More and more information is emerging about the intermediate generation console PlayStation 5 Pro.
Famous blogger Moore's Law Is Dead, who specialises in news about gaming hardware, has revealed details of the new console from Sony.
Here's What We Know
According to Moore's Law Is Dead, which is fully confirmed and authoritative insider Tom Henderson, Sony sent some studios documentation about the technical parameters and capabilities of the PlayStation 5 Pro.
Thanks to this, it has been revealed that the PS5 Pro will offer enhanced performance with a powerful 67 teraflops FP16 GPU.
The PS5 Pro will offer users consistently high performance in 4K resolution, and there is a "performance mode" for running games in 8K.
The new console renders games 45 per cent faster, and ray tracing capabilities will be two to three times faster than the base model.
In the new device, Sony will replace AMD's FSR 2 image scaling technology with its own PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution Upscaling) analogue, which will provide a boost in performance and graphics quality.
When We Can Expect It
Moore's Law Is Dead and Tom Henderson agree that sales will start shortly before the Christmas holidays.
