In honour of The Division 2 shooter's fifth anniversary, Ubisoft employees thanked gamers for their love of the game and promised that its story isn't over yet
Popular co-operative shooter The Division 2 from Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft turned five years old.
In honour of this event the developers released two special videos.
Here's What We Know
In the first video, the game designers briefly recalled the key events of The Division 2, from the game's release in 2019 to the release of the last major update.
The second video is dedicated to thanking those who worked on the shooter, and they are employees of Massive Entertainment, Ubisoft Bucharest, Red Storm, Ubisoft Annecy, Ubisoft Leamington, Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Sofia studios. The developers, content creators and other community members are sincerely grateful to everyone who has played The Division 2 and continues to maintain interest in the shooter.
Game designers of Massive Entertainment noted that despite the huge amount of work (the completion of Star Wars Outlaws and the beginning of production of The Division 3), the story of The Division 2 is far from over and the game will get a lot of new interesting content in the future.
In honour of The Division 2's 5th anniversary, the developers shared some interesting numbers:
- eight million clans created by players in five years;
- 22 million images were created in the photo mode;
- 110 million deaths were recorded in heroic mode and 60 million on legendary difficulty;
players scored 2 million victories in Countdown mode and 26 million victories in Paradise Lost; - the top floor of The Summit has been cleared 54 million times;
- 13 million items were looted from the Dark Zone;
- players have collected a billion trophies.
