Samsung Galaxy S21 series gets a software update for March

Following the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series smartphones, Samsung has released an update with the March security patch for the Galaxy S21 line of smartphones as well.

Here's What We Know

The new software update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra comes with firmware version G99xBXXS9FXBD in Europe and Latin America.

In the US, the Galaxy S21 series carrier smartphones are getting the G991USQSAFXC2 version update. It is available on Dish and T-Mobile networks. Factory unlocked Galaxy S21 devices are updated to firmware version G991U1UESAFXBC on all carrier networks.

This update brings only the March security patch, which fixes 44 vulnerabilities. A larger update to One UI 6.1 will be available in the coming months.
