Galaxy A14 5G is the first among Samsung's affordable models to receive a security update for March
Samsung started updating its flagship and mid-budget smartphones back in early March. Now the March update has been given to the first available model - the Galaxy A14 5G.
Here's What We Know
The update has been released for the international variant of the Galaxy A14 5G, which has the model number SM-A146B. As of now, the update is already available in India and Samsung will soon make it available in other regions as well. With the update, the firmware version should change to A146BXXS3CXC2. The security patch dated March 2024 fixes 45 security issues, among which two are critical and 42 are medium.
The Galaxy A14 5G is currently on a quarterly security update schedule and that means it will receive the next security update by the end of June 2024. The phone will also eventually receive One UI 6.1 updates.
