Work on the next Universal Monsters reboot has officially begun. This was announced by the head of Blumhouse Studios Jason Blum.
Here's What We Know
Blum posted a photo on social media of the director of the upcoming Wolf Man reboot, Leigh Whannel, straight from the set, adding the caption:

This isn't the first time Wannell has been involved with a Universal Monsters film. He previously successfully rebooted The Invisible Man, which was both a commercial success ($144.5 million worldwide) and garnered high marks from critics (92% "Fresh" on Rotten Tomatoes).
Here's What The Movie Is About
Not much is known about the film itself, other than the fact that the lead role was originally supposed to be played by Ryan Gosling, who eventually left the project due to a number of creative adjustments. He was replaced by Christopher Abbott. Ozark star Julia Garner is also set to star in the project.
When We Can Expect It
"Wolf Man" is scheduled for release in cinemas on October 25.
