The director of the iconic 'Gremlins', Joe Dante, will direct a reboot of the comedy horror flick 'Little Shop Of Halloween Horrors'
Famous for 'Gremlins', director Joe Dante and writer Roger Corman are teaming up with producer Brad Krevoy on a new project called 'Little Shop Of Halloween Horrors'. This reboot of Roger Corman's famous 1960's comedy horror film will be an attempt to start a new franchise.
Here's What We Know
Little Shop Of Halloween Horrors will be directed by Joe Dante, with Charles S. Haas writing the screenplay and Roger Corman and Brad Krevoy serving as co-producers.
The original 1960 film Little Shop Of Halloween Horrors, made on a minimal budget under Corman's direction and starring a young Jack Nicholson, quickly became considered a cult film. The film became especially popular after being adapted into a 1982 musical. In 1986, Warner Bros' Frank Oz's musical-comedy-horror was released and was nominated for two Academy Awards.
Here's What The Movie Is About
This is the story of a florist who discovers a strange plant that feeds on human flesh, and to satisfy it, Seymour must feed it to his victims, which leads to a series of darkly comic and increasingly twisted events.
When We Can Expect It
