Ammunition and armoured vehicles: Germany announces new €500m military aid package for Ukraine

The German government has announced a new military aid package for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Here's What We Know
According to Defence Minister Boris Pistorius, the new package is worth 500m euros. It includes 10,000 artillery ammunition, which will be transferred to Ukraine in the near future.
Germany will also purchase another 180,000 artillery ammunition for Ukraine as part of the Czech initiative and will order 100,000 155 mm calibre ammunition from its own manufacturers. Their deliveries are due to start this year.
The new package also provides for the delivery of 100 armoured infantry vehicles and 100 vehicles. It is not yet known exactly what kind of vehicles they will be and when they will be available to the AFU.
