Horizon Forbidden West received 92% of positive reviews on Steam, but the online peak is half that of Zero Dawn
On March 21, the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West was released. And we wonder how Sony's game performed on its debut day.
Here's What We Know
Horizon Forbidden West currently has almost 1000 reviews on Steam, 92% of which are positive. Players praise both the game itself and the optimisation. And nowadays, it's a great compliment for authors when their game works well right away.
Yesterday, 25 thousand people were playing the game at the same time. This is the 7th best result for Sony games on PC. But the online peak is half that of the first Horizon instalment. Back then, almost 57 thousand people played the game on the day of its release - twice as many as the sequel.
As a reminder, the PC version of Forbidden West includes the Burning Shores expansion pack. It also supports unlimited frame rates, ultra-wide monitors, Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS. The game costs $60.
