Auctions often sell rare vintage Apple hardware and other items related to the company. Recently, a business card of Steve Jobs was sold for a record sum.
Here's What We Know
According to Boston-based RR Auction, a rare Apple Computer business card signed by Steve Jobs was recently sold at auction for $181,183. This is a record price for a signed business card.
This business card is over 40 years old - it dates back to 1983. It shows the old six-colour Apple logo and lists the company's former address as 10495 Bandley Drive in Cupertino, California. Jobs is listed as chairman of Apple's board of directors.
Throughout his career, Steve Jobs was reluctant to sign autographs, so items bearing his signature often sell for large sums.
