Amazfit begins testing a blood pressure measurement feature on its smartwatch
Although Amazfit has not made any official announcements, users have noticed that the manufacturer has discreetly added a blood pressure function to its smartwatch.
Here's How It Works
Apparently, the innovation is still in the testing phase, as the feature is not available to everyone. Amazfit is currently testing the new tool on the Amazfit Balance smartwatch in China, Malaysia and Brazil.
One user some time ago showed a video of how the systolic and diastolic blood pressure feature works on the Amazfit watch. First, a message appears on the screen asking you to make sure the bracelet on the Balance watch is tightened. Next, the manufacturer reminds you that the device is not medically certified.
Measurements take place for 30 seconds. During this time, the user needs to place their hand on the table and remain still.
It is still unclear when the company will officially introduce the blood pressure checking tool on its smartwatch.
