We've written many times that Apple is working on iOS 18, the biggest system update since iOS 7. Now new details about the firmware have appeared on the internet.
Here's What We Know
Bloomberg insider and journalist Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is planning to add advanced desktop settings to iOS 18. According to our colleagues from MacRumors, users will finally be able to customise the layout of application icons on the home screen, as well as place them anywhere on the desktop.
By the way, it is also known that iOS 18 will add cross-platform messaging standard RCS, updated Siri voice assistant with generative artificial intelligence technology and much more.
When We Can Expect It
Apple will show iOS 18 at WWDC 2024 in early summer, with a full system release due in the autumn.
