Updates for OxygenOS and ColorOS: Full integration of Google Photos into OnePlus, OPPO and Realme gallery apps
OnePlus, OPPO, and Realme owners can now take advantage of a new feature - the integration of Google Photos into their standard gallery apps.
Here's What We Know
With the release of OxygenOS 14/ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, users can now fully integrate their photo libraries with the Google Photos cloud service.
How To Switch It On
If you're using the standard gallery app on your OnePlus, OPPO or Realme device, which is simply called Photos, you'll need to update to the appropriate OS version. Once you do, you'll be able to easily back up your photos and videos to Google Photos and view your full collection of photos and videos directly from the Gallery app.
The upgrade allows you to manage your photos and videos in a convenient way. For example, any photo or video you open in the Gallery app is automatically saved locally so you can view it even when you're offline. In addition, any changes you make to photos or videos through the Gallery app are automatically synced to Google Photos.
This feature is also available to users of Xiaomi devices. Updating the Gallery app to version 3.6.2.10 allows you to fully integrate your Google Photos library with your Xiaomi device.
