Everything is going according to plan: a reputable journalist has denied the rumour that Grand Theft Auto VI development has been delayed
A few days ago, journalists of the portal Kotaku reported that the demand of Rockstar Games to its employees to return to full-time offices from 1 April is due to the lag in the development schedule of GTA 6.
Allegedly, the studio management does not want to allow a situation in which will be forced to postpone the release of the most anticipated game from 2025 to 2026.
Now another source refutes the information Kotaku.
Here's What We Know
Senior editor of Insider Gaming portal Mike Straw said that he talked to several developers from Rockstar, who insist that the rumours about the delay of Grand Theft Auto VI production are not true.
Saying this again since people are still running with it: I've reached out to multiple sources and was told the game was "on schedule" and that any suggestion of a delay at this point in development is "pure conjecture" https://t.co/jCLRs7QAQw

At this point, it's impossible to judge which source is closer to the truth. Gamers can only wait for official information from Rockstar Games and Take-Two about the release date of GTA VI.
