vivo X Fold 3: a simplified version of vivo X Fold 3 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip on board

Apart from the foldable smartphone vivo X Fold 3 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer has also unveiled its simplified version vivo X Fold 3.

Here's What We Know

The model received the same appearance, but slightly different characteristics. The vivo X Fold 3 was equipped with a body with a thickness of 4.65 mm and a weight of 219 grams. It is the lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone in the market.

The gadget comes with the same screens as the vivo X Fold 3 Pro, but with a different processor. Instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the novelty has been fitted with last year's SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The smartphone also got a reduced battery from 5700 mAh to 5500 mAh. It only supports 80W fast wired charging.

As for the cameras, the vivo X Fold 3 has two 32 MP front sensors and three 50 MP main sensors (Sony IMX920) + 50 MP (Samsung JN1) + 50 MP (Sony IMX816). The novelty has IPX4 water protection, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The vivo X Fold 3 is already available to order in China. The smartphone is priced from $969.
