Lightweight souls-like: developers revealed nine minutes of gameplay of dynamic action game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn
Developers from Studio A44 presented a detailed gameplay trailer of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn action game.
Here's What We Know
In the nine-minute video the developers showed dynamic battles, various enemies, atmospheric locations, types of weapons, allies' abilities and much more.
Gameplay designers explained that their game should be called not souls-like, but rather souls-lite, because many elements of the popular genre were deliberately simplified in favour of dynamic gameplay and increasing the potential audience of the game.
Firearms play a big role in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn - flintlock pistols and muskets can not only stop the enemy and prevent him from striking, but also cause a lot of damage.
In battle, the protagonist named Nor Vanek will be assisted by her pet Enki. He not only distracts enemies, but can also attack them, including with the help of poison.
When We Can Expect It
The developers of Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn have not yet announced a release date. It is expected that the game will be released in summer on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series and will be immediately available in Game Pass service.
