Google Photos shortcut makes it easier for Android users to share images
Google Photos version 6.76 for Android now offers some users the option to set a "Favourite Shortcut" to make sharing images easier.
Here's What We Know
This easy-to-access button allows you to manually share photos with your favourite person with just one tap.
After enabling the feature, users can set up a specific person to appear on the share sheet for quick access. This makes sharing photos between users much easier.
This new feature complements Google Photos' existing organisation features, such as Photo Stacks and AI integration for image categorisation. The update allows users to organise their photo library more efficiently and find the images they need faster.
Although the Favourite Shortcut feature is only available for Android users for now, Google may consider rolling out this feature to other platforms in the future.
