Capcom has released the first major update for Dragon's Dogma 2, which is available on PC and PlayStation 5. It will be released on Xbox Series consoles at a slightly later date.
Here's What We Know
The main innovation of the patch was the ability to start new walkthroughs without deleting old saves. Recall that on release in Dragon's Dogma 2 for unknown reasons there was only one slot for character creation, and this was one of the factors of harsh criticism of the game.
In addition, the update provides the following changes:
- accelerated the appearance of the quest to acquire a home;
- changed the number of available Art of Metamorphosis items in pawn guilds to 99;
- fixed bugs, inaccuracies in text display and other errors;
- on the PS5 version, added settings for Motion Blur, ray tracing, and frame rate lock at 30 FPS;
- on PC improved quality with DLSS Super Resolution enabled, fixed incorrect model display at certain settings.
It was previously stated that Capcom will be releasing a series of patches, so there will be many more changes to Dragonʼs Dogma 2 in the near future.
