Apple offers big discounts on some Apple Watch bands for its employees
Apple is offering big discounts on some straps that became unavailable before the expected release of the Series 9 model.
Here's What We Know
The best deals are currently available on two of the most popular Apple Watch bands. The Link strap can now be purchased for $209 (down from $349), while the price of the Milanese Loop has been reduced to $59 (down from $99).
According to a MacRumors report, Apple regularly offers its employees special discounts on various products, but these discounts may indicate upcoming changes to the Apple Watch line.
In addition, the company also offers a 50% discount on Black Unity and Pride Edition bands for its employees.
Rumours about a possible future "Apple Watch X" model, which may not be compatible with existing bands, are stimulating discussions about future changes in the watch's design. Apple is actively working on a new magnetic clasp system that could replace the current design. However, the question of whether the Apple Watch X model will be released in 2024 or postponed to 2025 remains unanswered.
