In five weeks, Dune: Part Two has grossed $626 million
In mid-March, Dune: Part Two had already grossed $500 million at the box office and became the highest-grossing film of 2024. Two weeks have passed since this event, and the film has grossed even more.

In five weeks, Dune: Part Two has grossed $626 million. Over the last weekend of March, Denis Villeneuve's film grossed $18.4 million in 73 international markets, bringing its international total to $373.7 million. Outside of North America ($252 million), the film's biggest grosses came from China ($46.5 million), the United Kingdom ($43 million), Germany ($34.3 million) and France ($34.2 million).
Also, Dune: Part Two has already overtaken Part One, which grossed $434 million. However, it is important to clarify that from the day of the premiere, the first part was available on the HBO Max streaming service, which affected the purchase of tickets in cinemas.
The film cost $190 million to produce and another $100 million was spent on its promotion. Despite the high price, the film retained the popularity necessary to justify these costs and make a profit.
