Blizzards and sandstorms appeared in Helldivers 2: the developers of the popular shooter released a major update

Arrowhead Studios continues to work on the development of the popular co-operative shooter Helldivers 2.

Today a major update for the game has been released.

Here's What We Know

In patch 01.000.2 the developers made a lot of changes and innovations.

Let's concentrate on the main ones:

• new climatic conditions have appeared in the game: blizzards and sandstorms;
• the maximum player level has been raised from 50 to 150;
• conditions and methods of fulfilment of some tasks have been changed;
• the characteristics of some weapons have been significantly rebalanced;
• the enemies have also been changed: some of them have become weaker, while others now pose an even greater threat;
• changed the effect of exosuit "Patriot", now missiles will pass through the armour only on direct hit;
• increased protection for medium and heavy armour.

Since the shooter hasn't lost popularity for almost two months and remains at the top of sales, we can conclude that the developers are doing a great job in keeping the public interested and introducing new content.
