From 5 April, the price of the adventure RPG V Rising will rise by $15
Developer Stunlock Studios is gradually preparing for the release of V Rising from early access next month, so it has announced that the price of the game will be raised from $19.99 to $34.99 starting from April 5. In fact, this is not news at all, as the developer said at the time of the game's launch in early access: "we expect the price to increase after the early access, but we cannot give an exact price."
Here's What We Know
The project has spent five years in development, two of which were spent in early access, so the studio is convinced that "the price increase will reflect its full value". There is no need to worry about add-ons: their price tag will remain unchanged, although, of course, this does not apply to the Legacy of Castlevania expansion pack, which is scheduled for release on 8 May.
The 1.0 update will add a new legendary vampire hunter, Simon Belmont, as a boss. A premium package will also be available, which will include Castlevania-style castle decorations, skeleton mounts, and character customisation options, but the price of the package is still unknown.
Where To Play
V Rising is available on Windows (via Steam), but a PlayStation 5 version will also be released later this year.
When We Can Expect It
Version 1.0 will be released on the 8th of May.
