Rumour: Redmi K80 series of smartphones will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3/Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chips and a 5500mAh battery

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K70 series of smartphones in autumn 2023, and now it is already working on their successors.

Here's What We Know

According to the insider, the new series of devices will have at least two models: the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. The new products will come with a 5500 mAh battery. For comparison, the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro have a 5000 mAh battery.

In addition, the gadgets will get top-end Qualcomm processors. The Redmi K80 should feature the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, while the Redmi K80 Pro should get the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. The devices will come with 2K displays and water protection.

When We Can Expect It

Expect the Redmi K80 series to release in the coming months. The smartphones are likely to be unveiled in November.
