Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will only run at 30 FPS on Xbox Series consoles
Many gaming media released preview materials for the expected dystopian action game Senua's Saga: Hellblade II from Ninja Theory studio, which, as it turned out, was left by its co-founder Tameem Antoniades.
Journalists are almost unanimously praising most elements of the new game, but a detail that may upset users of Xbox Series consoles has been revealed.
Here's What We Know
As the developers demonstrated in their trailers, the graphics and visual effects of Hellblade II are made at the highest level, so every frame of the game looks spectacular and atmospheric, but everything has a price, and in the case of this game - it will be a low frame rate.
According to the journalists of the German edition Game Pro, on Xbox Series the novelty supports only 30 FPS mode with dynamic resolution, and 60 and more frames per second will be available only on PC.
Director of special effects Mark Slater-Tunstill promised that despite the low FPS value, players will not feel discomfort and compared the passage Senua's Saga: Hellblade II to watching a film, and there, as you know, the image is broadcast most often in 24 FPS.
When We Can Expect It
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II will be released on the 21st of May on PC and Xbox Series. The game will be available on Game Pass from day one.
