The new centre will be built in Solo, Central Java, by the end of this year, according to a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics.
The deputy minister, Nezara Patria, stressed the importance of this cooperation and highlighted the prospects it opens up for the development of artificial intelligence in his country.
Indosat, the second largest mobile network operator in the country, is committed to improving its technological infrastructure and offering human resources with the necessary skills. The company is now delving deeper into digital services in an effort to move beyond telecoms to grow into a broader technology corporation.
