Samsung, one of the largest phone manufacturers in the world, is preparing to release a new smart watch model - Galaxy Watch FE (Fan Edition).

Our colleagues at Android Headlines have managed to find out that the new version of the Galaxy Watch 4 is likely to be introduced under the name Galaxy Watch FE. This model is expected to offer similar functionality to the Galaxy Watch 4. The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE model will be officially available in the global, US and Korean markets. As seen in the screenshot, the model numbers of the new smartwatch are labelled as SM-R866F, SM-R866U and SM-R866N. The letters F, U and N at the end of the model numbers stand for Global, U.S. and Korea respectively. The names are very similar to the Galaxy Watch 4 model number - SM-R860F, indicating that a new version of the Watch 4 will be released soon.

The Galaxy Watch FE is expected to have a round shape and rotating bezel, just like the Galaxy Watch 4, and will run on Google's Wear OS. However, the most attractive part is that the Galaxy Watch FE will offer all these features at a lower price.
