Call of Duty: Vanguard has sold 30 million copies, according to a former Activision employee

Call of Duty: Vanguard is considered to be one of the worst Call of Duty games in recent years (although we still haven't moved on from the storyline campaign of the ultimate Modern Warfare III). This is clearly evidenced by the 3.7 rating from players on Metacritic. However, the game could have sold well.

Here's What We Know

Brian Hong worked as a media strategist at Activision, helping to develop a strategy aimed at attracting new players. On his LinkedIn profile, he stated that 30 million copies of Call of Duty Vanguard were sold.

Activision has not reported official data, but given the huge audience of CoD, this figure seems quite realistic.
