New YouTube Music feature: Activity notifications for Android and iOS

Activity notifications are now available on YouTube Music for Android and iOS devices.

Here's What We Know

This new feature, known as Activity, was first spotted last month and made available via a server update to users. Find it on the Home tab to the left of the search button. This Activity feed shows updates from artists you follow in reverse chronological order.

"Activity shows new singles and albums of your interest, with each line containing an artist image and cover art as release information.

This new option is well integrated with your music preferences. YouTube Music offers a "Suggested for You" list of artists based on your listening history, and gives you the option to view a list of all your subscriptions in the Library tab.

To take advantage of these new features, you need to subscribe to artists or channels.

Don't forget to update your app to take full advantage of the new features.
