Electronic Arts raises subscription price for EA Play service

Electronic Arts has announced an increase in EA Play subscription rates.

The official website already lists the new prices and notes that the change will take effect from 10 May, however, for new subscribers, the price tag mentioned is already relevant.

Standard EA Play subscription

• 1 month - $5.99/euro (was $4.99/euro)
• 1 year - $39.99/Euro (was $29.99/Euro)

EA Play Pro

• 1 month - $16.99/EUR (was $14.99/EUR)
• 1 year - $119.99/EUR (was $99.99/EUR).

In some regions, the subscription price has increased by 80%.
