Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 has received a new update. But for now, it's not One UI 6.1. Samsung has released a new security update for the device. Galaxy Fold 4 has started receiving the security update for April 2024 in the US.

Here's What We Know

The new software update for the unlocked version of the Galaxy Fold 4 is now available in the US and it comes with firmware version F936U1UES4EXD1. The update is currently available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile networks, but it may roll out to other carriers within a few days. This is a minor software update with a relatively small download size.

The update includes the April 2024 security patch, which fixes dozens of security vulnerabilities and does not include any new features or performance improvements. Improved and new features are expected in the One UI 6.1 update, which should be available in the coming weeks.
