Dbrand pays $10,000 in compensation for racist comment on social media
The well-known phone case company Dbrand has admitted its mistake after a high-profile case on social media, for which it was forced to pay $10,000.

It all started with a complaint from a customer who said that the company's product did not meet the declared quality standard. Instead, he received a rude response that had a racist tone, and expressed his dissatisfaction, causing a violent reaction online.
In response, Dbrand apologised to the consumer and offered him compensation in the amount of $10,000. Despite this, they did not remove their original post, which provoked further criticism from tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee.

Brownlee expressed his determination not to cooperate with Dbrand until it removes the offending post. This reaction led to the company deleting its post and apologising to customers for the situation.
Dbrand's CEO stressed that the comment was a serious mistake and expressed his gratitude to Brownlee for his help in resolving the conflict. The company promises to think more carefully about its communication strategies.
