Old Windows 7 beta "Milestone 3" suddenly appears online
Recently, an old and never-published beta version of Windows 7 hit the Internet with an unexpected leak.
Here's What We Know
Even after the end of official support for Windows 7 in January 2020, the historical sources of this beta have sparked interest among Windows fans and those interested in the history of operating systems. The 6758 build, which dates back to July 2008, provides a rare glimpse into the progress of Windows 7 years before its official release.

The old version contains a number of changes that are different from what we saw in the final RTM version, which was released in 2009. It includes an updated Paint app, new animations for the Aero Snap feature, and some changes to the look and feel of other apps and OS components.
This build also reflects simplified user account control (UAC) and updated media-related applications, including Internet Explorer with new interface components.
